Project and Industrial Inspection

Providing certifications and reports for material and equipment verification are amongst the activities of the ASCO Intl. inspection company. The company is also a provider of inspection certificates and reports considering the conformity of the materials and equipment with international standards or following the customer’s request, and such technical inspections can be carried out at the factories, sites or ports both inside and outside the country, if necessary.
The scope of the inspection activities depends on the nature and scope of the project and depending on the importance and sensitivity of the equipment, materials and technical areas, can be classified in the following categories:

  • Seaworthiness, Packing, and Marking Inspection
  • Certificate of Inspection & Verification of Conformity
  • Loading/Discharge Supervision
  • Price Verification Inspection
  • Pre-Shipment Inspection
  • Sampling Analysis
  • Custom’s Inspection

Technical, In-process, Installation and in-service inspections
These inspections cover a wide range of inspections of the Oil, Gas, and petrochemical industries, to the power section and manufacturing facilities that are carried out to verify the quality of the project conduction based on a construction progress plan or overhaul. Such inspections are applicable at the following levels:

Performing in-process and commissioning inspection for types of equipment including but not limited to:

  •  Mechanical Inspection
  • Pressure Vessels, Columns, Boilers, Reactors, Heat Exchanges, Storage Tank, Furnace,
  • pipe, Turbine, Compressor, Fiber Storage and Piping line inspection, construction project, industrial machinery
  • E&I Inspection
  • Steel Structure Inspection
  • Process Pipe inspection
  • Coating and Insulation Inspection
  • Sand Blasting, Shot Blasting
  • Painting, Cladding, Metal Spray
  • Cathodic Protection
  • PMI, RI

Corrosion and protection inspection

  • Selection and Characterization of engineering materials
  • Reverse Engineering
  • Metallography
  • Corrosion Analysis
  • Failure Analysis
  • Mechanical Property
  • Chemical Composition
  • NDT of Weld and Advanced NDT
  • Phased Array UT
  • Long Range Ultrasonic (Guided Wave UT)

Overhaul Inspection
Inspection of the overhaul is performed to ensure the health of the parts and based on the results of the inspection, repair or/and maintenance measures are taken. Periodic overhauls are based on the client’s decision on a specific category of equipment, depending on the type of the application. Such inspections and measurements are carried out to provide a status report of the given equipment.

Civil construction projects
Construction Department is responsible for monitoring construction, which includes inspection and monitoring of the implementation of approved processes.
